Hello! Welcome to my quiet corner, where I will be taking the time and space to pour my heart and mind into public diary entries here on my blog The Quiet Girl Chronicles.
The name is a bit wordy, I know. But I have had this blog name in mind for a few years. My entire life, I have been known as “the quiet one.” Well, I may not speak my mind, but I am much better at writing down my thoughts. Maybe this is because I often put thought into the things that I say, and I choose to keep my thoughts to myself. Not that I have anything particularly controversial to say, rather, if what I have to say does not contribute much to the conversation, then why waste my breath? My mind, however, is a whole different ballpark. My mind races and formulates scenarios that do not exist and very high expectations about the world around me and the people in my life. I am a thinker. I think myself into a headache sometimes.
But I digress.
The name of my blog is The Quiet Girl Chronicles because I’d like this to be a space where I can be vocal about the things that are important to me whether that be travel, family, books, or BTS. I want to write about how I am feeling and what I am doing. What is changing in my life? What are the things that make me happy? What makes me sad? What are my goals? How will I attain them? What lessons have I learned from prior relationships? What knowledge will I take from this into future relationships? Everything is fair game. But the diversity of the things I will be writing about are the reason why I have decided to call this a public diary. I want to let you into my mind. (Not all of it though, it might be scary in there).
